FREIGHT: All orders exceeding  $500 or more, including items on backorder, are eligible for FREE FREIGHT based on the following: your account must be current, freight sensitive items ordered are more than 10 cases mix or match. Freight sensitive items include: liquids/solutions, tongue blades, table paper, gloves, and equipment. If freight sensitive items are less than 10 cases, you will be responsible for freight. Orders being shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico are not eligible for free freight. Refrigerated items will also be charged freight for the difference between regular freight and 2^nd day air freight. The method of transportation will be selected by MPI unless other arrangements are made with customer service. If your order is less than $500, the freight charges will be added to your invoice. This also applies to all backorders. If you request anything other than regular ground, such as Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, etc., a statement with the charges will be faxed for your signature and approval, upon placing the order. Partial shipments are made when necessary. Orders are usually shipped within 48 hours. 

BACKORDERS: 24 hour confirmation on backorders via fax. All backorders will be shipped immediately upon receipt of goods. Items will not be canceled unless specified on your purchase order.  A notification will be sent on any items ordered that are not currently stocked.
